    The Five Not-So-Secret Tricks to Looking Youthful

    Don’t we all wish to look like we’re in our twenties forever? But since the fountain of youth hasn’t been found yet, you know that ageing can creep up on you anytime, especially since you live in sunny Australia, where the weather can be quite unpredictable.

    Now you might have already tried different ways to make sure you look youthful for a longer time. But here are five tricks to include in your routine:

    1. Take sunblock seriously.

    Australia has one of the sunniest weathers in the world, which means that you’re exposed to the harsh UV rays of the sun for most of the year. This is why you should never leave the house without applying sunblock because it can really save your skin from ageing fast. And don’t stop at that because you also need to re-apply at least every two hours, especially if you’ll be outdoors for a longer time. You even need to continue using sunblock during the winter to keep your skin protected.

    1. Treat yourself to a dermapen microneedling session.

    If you’re into skincare, you might have heard about a dermapen microneedling procedure that utilises a skin needling pen to stimulate the skin’s collagen and elastin production. Now this isn’t just your regular facial because the pen’s microneedles will go deep into your skin to enhance its natural healing abilities and make your skin look younger than ever. This is why dermapen microneedling is widely used for different skin conditions. 

    1. Make sleep a priority.

    Sleep isn’t an option if you want to look youthful—it is a must. Lack of sleep doesn’t only make you tired and grumpy, but it also causes visible dark circles, eye bags and fine lines that will surely make you look older than your age. So while it’s okay to go out every now and then, always make sure that you get at least eight hours of sleep every day to give your body time to rest and your skin to repair and regenerate itself.

    1. Invest in good quality skincare products.

    Yes, it’s very important to follow a strict skincare routine. But if you’re using the wrong products, you still won’t get the glow that you want. So if you ever need to splurge on one thing, make it your skincare products because they offer you good value for money. Whether it’s serums, masks, and creams, try to look for skincare products that suit your skin type. Keep in mind that not all good quality products are very expensive. You just need to find those that fit you well. 

    1. Make exfoliating a habit.

    Finally, make exfoliating a part of your weekly skincare routine. Exfoliation helps to remove any dead skin cells in your body, clear your pores and allow your skin to breathe and feel brand new again. Now treat yourself to a nice long bath at least once a week where you take the time to exfoliate not only your face but your entire body. Your skin will undoubtedly appreciate it.
